We are recruiting enthusiastic and reliable English Teachers to work in secondary schools across Newham. The position is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced educators, or individuals with experience working with young people.
The Role
Teach English up to KS4.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Ensure students remain engaged and focused on assigned work.
Provide support and guidance where required.
Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Confidence leading groups of students aged 11‐18.
A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
