As an English Teacher, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning by supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced educators, or individuals with experience working with young people.
The Role:
- Teach English up to KS4.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Ensure students remain engaged and focused on assigned work.
- Provide support and guidance where required.
- Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring, or youth work setting.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Confidence leading groups of students aged 11-18.
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
