We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our successful secondary school in Waltham Forest from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented teacher to inspire students across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of business, economics, enterprise, and the wider world.

The position is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, making it suitable for experienced teachers seeking flexibility as well as ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role

  • Teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge students.
  • Monitor, assess, and support student progress to ensure excellent outcomes.
  • Contribute to the continued development of the department and wider school community.
  • Promote a positive learning environment where all students can achieve their full potential.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has strong subject knowledge in Business and/or Economics.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and high expectations for student achievement.
  • Is passionate about teaching and learning.
  • Has strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative team.
