The role As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other members of our dedicated team to support pupils both in and outside the classroom. You will help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. Your responsibilities may include: * Supporting pupils with their learning and development, both individually and in small groups * Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities * Supporting children who may require additional educational, social or emotional support * Encouraging positive behaviour and helping children develop confidence and independence * Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources * Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers * Supporting the wider life of the school About you We are looking for someone who is: * Warm, caring and approachable * Patient, enthusiastic and resilient * Passionate about supporting children's learning and development * Able to build positive relationships with children and adults * A confident communicator and team player * Reliable, organised and able to use their own initiative * Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Previous experience working with children is desirable, but we are also happy to hear from candidates who are looking to begin or develop their career in education.
