Red Star 3D are seeking a Production Coordinator to work remotely on our production of The Amazing Maurice 2. Candidates must be based in the UK or in the EU.
Under the supervision of the project's Senior Production Manager, the Production Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day running of the animation and layout departments.
Responsibilities:
- Implement the production schedule on a day-to-day basis, ensuring all crew are clear on daily tasks and their timescales for completion.
- Enter data into the shotgrid database used for the project's production.
- Oversee communication between departments and key personnel.
- Review, approve and track crew holiday/absence.
- Foster a creative culture and environment throughout the project team so crew are empowered to do their best work.
Skills & Requirements:
Must haves:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience within a CG-related production environment.
- Knowledge of Shotgrid.
- Experience of working in a Maya-based CG pipeline.
- The ability to work proactively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have:
- A good eye for animation.
- An understanding and appreciation for the art of film making and animation.
Details:
- Contract term: IMMEDIATELY - January 2027.
- Salary: negotiable.
- Whilst this is a fully remote position, due to the way this project is funded candidates MUST be physically based in the UK or EU to be eligible and a strong preference will be given to UK-based candidates.
