Our client is looking for a Maintenance Groundskeeper to join them on a permanent basis. The Maintenance Groundskeeper will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our clients multisite facility, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually appealing for all visitors and staff. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including general maintenance, plumbing, painting, groundskeeping and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT * Recognised trade preferred (Joiner, Electrician, HVAC engineer, painter Multiskilled engineer). * Relevant experience working as a caretaker and or tradesperson background. * Experience of working in commercial office environment . * Clean, valid driving licence preferred. * Excellent time management skills. * Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. JOB DESCRIPTION * Perform routine maintenance across the building, including fixing and replacing light bulbs, electrical fixtures, and ensuring all areas are in good working order. * Carry out routine checks on the facilities, highlighting any defects or H&S concerns, Log defects and schedule in repairs. * Host external contractors on arrival to site, to carry out routine repairs to the facilities. * Conduct regular emergency light testing, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards. * Perform fire alarm testing and liaise with relevant authorities to ensure the systems are up-to-date and fully operational. * Carry out minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and maintaining water systems within the facility. * Assist with general painting and decorating duties to maintain the aesthetic standards of the facilities. * Contribute to the Legionella testing compliance program, ensuring that water systems are regularly checked and maintained according to safety standards. * Respond quickly to emergency requests, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize downtime for staff and visitors. * Assist in the upkeep of HVAC systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently. * Maintain an organized and safe working environment, following health and safety guidelines. * Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any maintenance related issues as they arise. * Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. * Grass Cutting, hedge trimming, weed control, litter picking, cleaning of hard surfaces. * Use forklift truck to offload equipment into warehouse. (Training course can be arranged if no prior experience. * You may be asked from time to time be asked to undertake other tasks that are considered to be relevant to your position.
