Our Glasgow based client is looking to add an Insurance and Contracts Business Partner to their team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). As Insurance and Contracts Business Partner you will support the day-to-day function in the service provision of Contracting, Insurance and Corporate Risk Management Structure.

- Degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience of working with commercial aspects of a service organisation.
- Knowledge of contracting, insurance and general business compliance practices.
- Good commercial acumen and analytical skills.

Job Description
- Preparation in the drafting of ship management agreements and business-related contracts as required.
- Review of business-related contracts as required for all group companies.
- Identify compliance requirements and insurable risks under all contracts and ship management agreements and review on an annual basis.
- Monitor the Contract Management system and support all business units to ensure full utilisation and compliance of the system.
- Support all business units in managing contract disputes.
- Monitor the proper compliance of international sanction related policies and procedures.
- Monitor corporate risk exposures and maintain schedule of corporate risk registers and support preparation of corporate risk reports.
- Deputise as company insurance and legal point of contact when necessary.
- Manage compliance of Ship Owners insurance and claims reporting requirements.
- Ensure records of all insurance reported incidents and analysis of claims by type on an annual basis are maintained.
- Review insurable benefits on seafarers' employment contracts.
- Ensure an updated record of certificates for all vessel and company insurance policies is being maintained.
- Support management of corporate risk registers and consolidate and prepare corporate risk report.
- Support Casualty Response Team when required.
