This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and resident-focused Housing Management team responsible for delivering high-quality landlord services to a large and diverse community.
You will play a key role in managing tenancies holistically, taking ownership of resident concerns and working proactively to provide effective solutions in line with policy and procedure. The role requires a strong balance of enforcement, support, and engagement to help residents sustain their tenancies and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a varied caseload including:
- Rent recovery
- Anti-social behaviour (ASB) case management
- Adult and child safeguarding
- Supporting victims of domestic abuse
- Mutual exchanges
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive housing professional who is passionate about delivering excellent tenancy management services. You will demonstrate:
- Experience in housing management and tenancy-related casework
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and welfare reform
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to problem-solve effectively and manage complex situations
- Confidence working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- A compassionate yet assertive approach when supporting residents
- Experience using housing systems such as NEC (Northgate)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Successful candidates will be subject to a comprehensive screening process, including a DBS check.
