RSR is a public safety & enterprise security recruitment specialist. We assist public safety employers find the right talent. We are currently recruiting for experienced and accredited Financial Investigator (AFI) on a full-time, long-term contract, based in central Birmingham. The client will consider applicants who are looking to work remotely. The initial contract is for 6 months, but there is a view to extend this. The role is paying £26.35 per hour (PAYE). The role will be situated within a Police Force, so applicants must be able to obtain national security vetting.

Role overview:

An established specialist team of financial investigators, detectives and financial analysts. The CLTF is focused on criminal finances, recovering the Proceeds of Crime via POCA & Criminal Finances Act, and leading complex money laundering and civil recovery investigations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A dedicated team of Financial Investigators within CLTF support our Operations teams by establishing and delivering effective asset recovery solutions against those involved in County Lines drugs supply networks throughout the region and beyond.
  • CLTF FI’s work closely with investigations units, supporting from the earliest inception of intelligence development, through to prosecution and beyond.
  • This role provides the opportunity to take a proactive approach to Financial investigation, taking part in operational enforcement where appropriate.
  • The role places you at the very forefront of removing criminal wealth and ensuring crime does not pay.
  • It is expected that you will work with minimal supervision yet maintain a high workload in a demanding environment.
