RSR are currently recruiting for experienced PIP1 Accredited Investigator to work on a full-time contract in Netley (Southampton), Hampshire. This is a 6 month contract, but there\’s a view to extend this. The role is paying £16.71p per hour (PAYE). The role will be situated within a Police Force, so applicants must be able to obtain national security vetting. Role overview: The PIP1 Investigator gathers and reviews evidence and undertakes investigations relating to volume and priority crime to ascertain whether a person should be charged with an offence or if a person charged with an offence is guilty of that offence. Responsibilities: Collect and gather material, intelligence and evidence from a range of sources (including volume and priority crime reports, victims, witnesses, suspects and other sources) and record and retain it in a format that is evidentially admissible to support the investigation. Interview witnesses and suspects, applying appropriate interviewing techniques to gather all required information, intelligence and evidence within the law and the legal framework to help bring offenders to justice. Knowledge/Experience: Hold a current authorisation to drive Police vehicles. To have an up to date licence to Police and current PDR.
