We are recruiting Enforcement Agents to work across Herts and the surrounding areas. You will receive full training and support to help you develop the skills required to succeed in this rewarding, field-based role. What You'll Do As an Enforcement Agent, you'll be out in the field making visits to properties where customers have outstanding debts. Your aim will be to engage with customers professionally and respectfully, understand their circumstances and help them reach the best possible solution to avoid further enforcement action. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Visiting residential and commercial properties. Speaking with customers to understand their circumstances. Discussing outstanding payments and agreeing appropriate arrangements. Helping customers identify the best solution to resolve their situation. Completing questionnaires, reports and updating case management systems. Dealing professionally with challenging or difficult situations. Identifying vulnerable customers and signposting them towards appropriate support. Taking control of goods where necessary and in accordance with relevant legislation. Planning and managing your own daily workload. Working towards performance targets and earning additional commission and bonus.This is a role where every day is different. Some visits will be straightforward, whilst others will require you to use your communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills to achieve the best outcome. What You'll Need to Succeed We are looking for resilient, motivated individuals who can think on their feet and remain professional in challenging situations. Determination and discipline - you'll need the motivation to go the extra mile and achieve results. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good numeracy skills and the ability to complete accurate records and reports. Confidence working independently and managing your own workload. Resilience and the ability to deal with challenging conversations professionally. A full, valid UK manual driving licence held for at least 2 years.Vehicle Requirement Candidates must have access to their own personal vehicle during the initial stages of training. This is required to ensure you can reliably travel to your workplace and meet your trainer, which may be up to a 45-minute drive from your home address. Once trained, successful candidates will have access to a company vehicle, meaning you will not need to use your own vehicle for the role. Candidates who are already certificated enforcement agents may be eligible for a company vehicle from day one. Essential Eligibility Requirements Candidates must: Have the right to work in the UK. Hold a full UK manual driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. Have access to a personal vehicle during the initial training period. Meet the required financial and criminal background checks. Not have been placed on a police barred list. Have a good standard of English and mathematics.
