Red Snapper Recruitment are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Services Manager to lead a frontline domestic abuse service across Coventry and Leicester. You will manage and support a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services to those at high risk of harm, with a strong focus on multi-agency working, safeguarding, and service development.

Location: Coventry

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including some weekends and participation in the out-of-hours rota

Salary: £35,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team providing direct support to survivors of domestic abuse
  • Ensure risk assessments, safety planning, and MARAC processes are robust and survivor-focused
  • Deliver supervision, case reviews, and staff development
  • Contribute to strategic planning, funding applications, and governance processes
  • Represent the service in multi-agency and strategic meetings, strengthening partnerships
  • Oversee monitoring and evaluation to assess impact and guide service improvements
  • Ensure services are inclusive, culturally competent, and legally compliant

Essential Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing services for high-risk domestic abuse or vulnerable individuals
  • Strong leadership and staff supervision skills
  • Experience working within governance structures and supporting board decisions
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and relevant legislation
  • Ability to build and maintain multi-agency relationships
  • Financial management and fundraising experience
  • Excellent communication, organisational and strategic planning skills

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Relevant management qualification or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with women and children from diverse and marginalised communities
  • Full driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business insurance
  • Enhanced DBS clearance
