Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Business Support and Intelligence Officer on behalf of Torbay Council. This is an exciting opportunity to join the Community Safety Business Unit, supporting operational teams through high-quality intelligence analysis, reporting and business support functions.
Location: Hybrid working minimum one day per week office based at Tor Hill House, Castle Circus, Torquay
Hours: Part time - 22.2 hours per week
Pay Rate: 14.82 per hour PAYE
Contract: Temporary contract initially for 3 months
Start Date: Ideally by early July, however the client can wait for the right candidate
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Analyse and interpret complex statistical and operational data to support the Community Safety Business Unit
- Compile reports and provide operational insights to assist effective team management and service delivery
- Identify trends and patterns from historical and incoming data to support case management and performance monitoring
- Prepare briefing packages and intelligence reports for officers and managers
- Maintain and update back-office databases and ensure data quality standards are adhered to
- Support Freedom of Information requests, media enquiries and reporting requirements
- Assist with continuous business improvement initiatives
