Pathfinder Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA)\\n Location: Covering Sandwell, Dudley, Walsall & Wolverhampton Family Court. When not working in the community, you will be expected to work from offices in Sandwell, Dudley or Walsall. \\n Salary: £25,282 – £28,861 (DOE & Qualifications)\\n Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri, 9-5)\\n Contract: Permanent\\n\\nPlease note: This role is open to female applicants only under the Equality Act 2010 (Schedule 9, Part 1).\\n\\nWe're recruiting a dedicated Pathfinder IDVA on behalf of our client to support survivors of domestic abuse as they navigate the Family Court process.

This vital role focuses on empowering victims and their children, ensuring they feel informed, supported, and safe at every stage.\\n\\nYou'll be the main point of contact for families, helping them understand the court process, advocating on their behalf, and ensuring their experiences of abuse are fully recognised within proceedings.\\n\\nWhat You'll Be Doing\\n\\nProviding 1:1 support to survivors and their children throughout the Family Court journey\\n\\nCompleting risk assessments (including DASH) and developing tailored safety plans\\n\\nPreparing detailed reports to ensure the impact of domestic abuse is understood by court professionals\\n\\nWorking closely with CAFCASS, partner agencies and safeguarding teams\\n\\nSupporting victims with pre-court preparation, attendance and post-court safety planning\\n\\nDelivering expert guidance within the court setting on domestic abuse dynamics\\n\\nManaging a caseload, keeping accurate records and participating in multi-agency meetings\\n\\nWhat We're Looking For\\n\\nExperience working with victims of domestic or sexual abuse, and/or a relevant IDVA qualification is essential\\n\\nStrong understanding of domestic abuse, safeguarding, risk assessment and trauma-informed practice\\n\\nExperience supporting vulnerable adults/children and managing complex cases\\n\\nAbility to build trust, communicate sensitively and advocate confidently\\n\\nSkilled in report writing, multi-agency working and maintaining professional boundaries\\n\\nFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
