- Experience of delivering on-street statutory enforcement within a local authority, public sector organisation, or comparable contracted enforcement service.
- Experience of engaging with residents, businesses, and other stakeholders to resolve issues impacting the local environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with external partner agencies, including the police and other enforcement bodies.
- Experience of managing a caseload of enforcement, compliance, or investigation-based cases on behalf of a front-line operational service.
- Evidence-gathering and reporting skills, including the ability to produce clear, accurate written statements and case files to support formal or legal proceedings.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation relating to highway or public realm (Highways Act 1980 - ideal but not essential).
- Resilience, professionalism, and confidence working in an on-street environment, including dealing with conflict and maintaining personal safety.
- Full driving licence with access to their own vehicle.
