The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Multiple Approved Premises across the Midlands & North (Nottingham, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Sheffield, Doncaster, Rotherham, Manchester, Liverpool, Carlisle, Stockport, Bury & surrounding areas)

Hours: part or full time- 37 per week (rolling rota including nights & weekends)

Type: Short-term contracts (with strong possibility of extension)

Immediate Opportunities in Probation and Criminal Justice

RSR Justice is urgently recruiting Approved Premises Workers to support multiple Probation Approved Premises across the Midlands and Northern regions. These roles are essential to maintaining safe and secure residential environments for individuals under probation supervision. We are particularly seeking candidates who already hold Probation Level 1 vetting or have relevant frontline experience.

Sites currently requiring cover include Approved Premises across Nottingham, Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Derby, Doncaster, Rotherham, Manchester, Stockport, Liverpool, Carlisle and surrounding areas. These roles are fast-paced, hands-on positions supporting the daily running of Approved Premises and ensuring residents comply with licence conditions while working towards rehabilitation.

What you'll do:

  • Supervise and support residents, ensuring safety and compliance with house rules
  • Carry out regular building checks and maintain secure curfews
  • Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents professionally
  • Conduct room searches and assist with resident inductions
  • Support medication procedures and maintain accurate records
  • Act as a key contact point during night shifts and emergencies

Who we're looking for:

  • Reliable and proactive professionals with existing Probation Level 1 vetting
  • Experience in probation, criminal justice, housing support, homelessness services, social care or security roles

Successful candidates will be:

  • Calm and confident in challenging situations
  • Observant and reliable when working independently
  • Flexible to work shifts including nights and weekends
  • Motivated to contribute to a critical public sector service
