We’re looking for a skilled Digital Business Analyst to support the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused digital services and transformation initiatives. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in shaping and improving digital systems, working across teams to deliver impactful change. You’ll be based at Gosforth Park with hybrid working (2–3 days in the office), and will also need to travel to the Stanley site when required.
The Role
As a Digital Business Analyst, you’ll work at the heart of digital transformation—translating business needs into effective, user-focused solutions. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, support project delivery, and ensure services are designed with usability, value, and efficiency in mind. You’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of digital change, from discovery and requirements gathering through to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities including requirements gathering, documentation, and prioritisation
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and shape digital solutions
- Support the delivery of digital projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Develop business cases, process maps, and service designs
- Create user stories, testing scenarios, and supporting documentation
- Facilitate workshops and service design sessions with stakeholders
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
- Support supplier engagement and procurement activity where required
- Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation across digital services
- Help manage change, ensuring smooth implementation and minimal disruption
About You
We’re looking for someone who is analytical, collaborative, and comfortable working across both technical and business teams.
Essential experience:
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst or similar role within digital/IT environments
- Strong experience gathering and translating business requirements
- Experience working with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and product backlogs
- Ability to manage risk and support change delivery
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Desirable:
- Project management experience or exposure (e.g. PRINCE2, CAPM)
- Business Analysis or relevant ICT qualification
- Knowledge of ITIL processes
- Experience with service design, process mapping, or continuous improvement approaches
