RSMS Public Safety works with UK and overseas Police Forces, Criminal Justice Agencies, Local Authorities and safeguarding partners to deliver specialist investigative, risk‑management and public protection services. We support high‑harm, high‑risk environments through professional investigation, assessment and case‑management capability. Our teams have extensive experience in serious crime investigation, safeguarding, vulnerability management and multi‑agency risk coordination. We provide specialist support across public protection, including investigation, triage, risk assessment and case progression, helping agencies reduce harm, protect vulnerable people and strengthen operational outcomes.
We’re recruiting experienced investigators to join a specialist Public Protection team working on high‑risk, high‑harm safeguarding investigations. This is a full‑time deployed role, requiring you to work away from home for extended periods. All accommodation and travel are provided.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage investigations involving vulnerable victims
- Build strong case files and deliver high‑quality evidence
- Interview victims, witnesses and suspects using recognised models
- Complete risk assessments and safeguarding plans
- Work with partner agencies to protect vulnerable people
- Manage digital, forensic and intelligence material
- Prepare files for CPS and support court processes
- Maintain accurate records and meet investigative standards
What you’ll bring
- PIP2 accreditation (essential)
- Experience in Public Protection, RASSO, DA, CSE or safeguarding
- Strong interview skills with victims and suspects
- Ability to manage sensitive information and work with discretion
- Confident decision‑making under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and within a multi‑agency environment
