Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Travelling Communities Outreach & Engagement Worker (Part Time) for a charity dedicated to making a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in society in Wiltshire.
Contract: Permanent
Basic Salary: £13,122 (FTE £25,235)
Hours: Part time, 19.5 hours per week
Location: Travel across Wiltshire and BANES (Bath & North East Somerset)
Valid driver's license and access to a car for business purposes. This position is 19.5 hours per week, we are happy to discuss the hours and working pattern.
The Role: Join our dedicated Gypsy, Roma, Traveler, and Boater (GRTB) Service team and take on a truly meaningful role! This is a fantastic opportunity to actively engage with and support travelling communities across Wiltshire and Bath & North East Somerset. Your work will take you to a variety of locations, including council and private sites, as well as roadside stops, where you'll make a tangible difference.
Responsibilities include:
- Progress and track referrals made to the service
- Provide clients with information and ensure an enabling service so that the appropriate services can be accessed
- Keep accurate and timely records of all client interactions
- Support clients to engage in consultation events both within the organisation and in the wider community
