Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting for a Specialist Drug & Alcohol Support Worker (Domestic Abuse and Domestic violence) based in Bath. The purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive, holistic needs assessment, support planning, progress monitoring and review for clients with a range of complex, social and housing need. The post holder is responsible for delivering support to service users with complex needs who have experienced domestic abuse and been provided with short term, emergency refuge accommodation. This is a full-time 37.5 hours, fixed term contract (Ending July 2025) role offering a salary of £25,500 per annuum. (Participation in an on-call, out-of-hours rota) You must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle. Main duties and responsibilities Refer clients who are experiencing drug and/or alcohol difficulties to DHI for treatments and support Complete needs/risk assessments for clients leading to the delivery of tailored support plans Assist with client move ins/outs to minimise void times. Complete a support plan with individual service users and provide the necessary support as identified in the plan.
