Red Snapper Recruitment are recruiting a temporary rough sleep prevention worker for a client of ours based in Bristol.

Contract type: Temporary two months

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (PT considered)

Salary: £12.94 per hour

We are ideally looking for someone who can do full-time hours, but if someone is looking for something more part-time we are also happy to review, please could the hours and days be confirmed when sending them across.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in early outreach sessions.
  • Buddying up with a member of staff during outreach to contact new, repeat and long-term rough sleepers across the Exeter Council area.
  • Deliver SWEP (Severe Weather Emergency Protocol) at short notice.
  • Update client records using our online system.

Person Specification:

  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and/or challenging behaviours.
  • Need to be in central Exeter by 06:00 AM when taking part in Outreach.
  • Ideally a driver, but will also review applicants who can't drive, but they will need to be on-site by 06:00 AM.
