Red Snapper Recruitment is seeking a passionate and organised Domestic Violence Advocate Trainer to support survivors of domestic violence and abuse (DVA) while helping drive systemic change through health-sector partnership.

This is a dynamic role combining training delivery, advocacy, and multi-agency collaboration-ideal for someone with experience supporting vulnerable individuals and a desire to raise awareness of DVA within healthcare settings.

Location: Sandwell, Walsall, DudleyHours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)Salary: £25,590 – £27,671 per annum (DOE)Contract: PermanentTravel: Required within the region – driving license and own car essential

What You\’ll Do

  • Deliver tailored training to healthcare professionals across 25 general practices, helping them identify and respond to DVA.

  • Provide emotional and practical support to a caseload of approximately 25 clients.

  • Carry out risk assessments, safety planning, and signposting to specialist services.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with GPs and health partners, encouraging DVA referrals and information sharing.

  • Maintain clear and accurate case records and contribute to data reporting for commissioners.

  • Attend multi-agency meetings and respond to safeguarding concerns appropriately.

What We\’re Looking For

  • A confident communicator with a compassionate, trauma-informed approach.

  • Experience working with victims of domestic abuse, including conducting needs/risk assessments and managing complex casework.

  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding, relevant legislation, and support systems.

  • Skilled in training delivery and confident working collaboratively across services.

  • A degree-level qualification or relevant professional experience.

  • A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
