Red Snapper is seeking a qualified Probation Officer to support a Probation Delivery Unit on a part-time, remote basis, preparing Pre-Sentence Reports for the courts.
Duration: 3 months, with possibility of extension | 2 Days per Week (18 hours)
£21.75 PAYE | £28.64 Umbrella per hour
Remote Working
Role Overview
Working remotely for 18 hours per week over 2 days, you will be responsible for the timely preparation and submission of high-quality Pre-Sentence Reports (stand-down, fast delivery, and standard reports as required), providing clear risk assessments and sentencing recommendations.
Key Requirements
- Qualified Probation Officer (PQIP, DipPS, or equivalent) – essential
- Recent experience in PSR writing and court report preparation
- Strong working knowledge of OASys and nDelius
- Ability to work independently and manage workload to deadlines
- Confident in using remote working systems (Teams, secure email, etc.)
