Project Manager – Heavy Civils Tier 1 Main Contractor Qualifications: SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent), TWC, NRSWA (preferred). Experience: Heavy civils essential, water sector preferred. Proven success managing direct delivery teams, subcontractors, and clients. Skilled in programming, planning, and NEC contracts. Role Summary: Deliver multiple projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Lead teams, manage client relationships, and ensure safety and compliance while meeting commercial objectives. Responsibilities: Plan, budget, and oversee project delivery from design to completion. Chair site meetings, maintain clear records, and manage progress against programme. Build strong client and stakeholder relationships. Ensure compliance with HSE standards, risk assessments, and environmental regulations. Prepare project documentation, including ITPs, QA files, and as-builts. Drive cost control and identify opportunities for additional works. Key Skills & Qualifications: Civil Engineering Degree/HNC or equivalent. Strong knowledge of NEC contracts, CDM, and Primavera P6 (or similar). CSCS Manager’s Card, SMSTS certification. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
