Client Side Planning Manager – P6 Planning Manager / Senior Planner Opportunity Programme: Sustainability Project value: Up to £150M Package: Negotiable dependant on experience + excellent benefits including: * 5% welcome bonus (included in first pay) * Mondays & Fridays work from home * £4,500 flex allowance * Up to 20% bonus * Private medical cover * Free staff parking & free holiday parking, capped at 28 days * 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays We are pleased to be supporting our client in their search for a Programme Planning Manager to play a key role in the sustainability programme and Gatwick\’s future. You will have the chance to gain valuable front-end exposure while managing the full project lifecycle. Key projects include replacing boilers with all electric, non-fossil fuel plants and transitioning to refrigerants with lower global warming potential. Your role will be crucial in helping Gatwick achieve its sustainability goal of reducing emissions by 2030. This is an excellent opportunity to directly observe and influence Gatwick\’s journey to Net Zero by 2030. Proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential; the successful candidate will also have expertise in NEC contracts and a background in overseeing large-scale projects, with a focus on sustainability / MEP upgrades. Any aviation experience would be advantageous. Qualifications & Experience: * Degree/Post-Grad or equivalent in construction or business-related field. * Membership of a recognised professional body such as RICS. * At least 10 years\’ experience as a Senior Planner on £50M+ projects. * Proven leadership experience, ideally leading small teams (2-3 people). * Expertise in Primavera P6 and planning complex projects. * Experience in planning infrastructure projects in live operational environments is highly desirable. * Strong understanding of commercial and financial aspects of projects, with a working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts. * Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders. * Knowledge of airport environments is a plus. * Strong leadership, resilience, and the ability to manage ambiguity in dynamic environments.
