HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic Heathrow Airport

Salary: £46,730 £51,047 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits

Schedule: 4 days on / 4 days off

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Join the airside maintenance team at Heathrow Airport and play a vital role in keeping one of the worlds busiest airports running smoothly! We’re currently recruiting for three experienced HGV / Plant Mechanics to support our operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Service, maintain, and repair a wide range of Ground Service Equipment (GSE) including aircraft tugs, towing tractors, and baggage elevators.
• Diagnose faults and carry out both mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Conduct planned and preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Complete accurate paperwork and liaise effectively with internal teams.
• Work safely and in compliance with all health and safety regulations.

• 11:30 AM – 11:30 PM paying £51,047.50
• 06:30 AM – 06:30 PM paying £50,547
• 06:00 AM – 06:00 PM paying £46,730

Overtime paid at time and a half.

HGV Mechanic / Plant Mechanic About You

• Qualified HGV Mechanic / Technician, or strong background in light vehicle or GSE maintenance.
• Prior GSE experience desirable but not essential.
