RED Semiconductor International are in the final stages of preparing the tape out of our first chip for which we are funded.
The core of our product is an infinitely reconfigurable advanced mathematics Offload Processor designed for the Edge-Edge.
It is a fundamental building block for algorithmic mathematics-based solutions from AI and neural nets to cryptography and advanced smart sensor environments.
Our products will be both physical chips and IP to be built into 3 rd party devices.
We are now looking for software wizards to build up our firmware control and "Orchestrator" code development team over the coming months.
We are looking for individuals who eat sleep and breath coding, and who have probably done so since long before they went to University (or equivalent).
Applicants will need fluency in Assembly language, embedded systems and C and be able to demonstrate experience in code optimization, C++, Python, AI, FPGA, So C, familiarity with SVN and git, CI/CD.
Don't worry if you don't have everything, but you must have the motivation, ability and versatility to learn and adapt.
So, if you have been playing with Arduino and Raspberry Pi devices and the rest since your early teens now is your time to shine.
RED is a fast moving start up with a close nit team of engineers and market experienced management.
With the tape out of our first device, we are about to go through a significant customer driven growth phase.
We are hiring for skills not seniority, however seniority will be recognized and as we grow that will benefit our organisational structure.
For that reason, we are not tying these appointments to specific salary bands.
Successful candidates will be entitled to join our company stock option scheme which we are putting in place.
We generally work remotely with regular meetings at our offices on the Harwell Science Park.
Not all appointments will be made simultaneously, and we will be reviewing candidates form late September.
