The Role
This position offers a strong surgical caseload with a particular emphasis on advanced soft tissue surgery and orthopaedics. You will be a key clinical figure within the practice, contributing not only through hands-on surgical work but also by supporting clinical standards and mentoring where appropriate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and performing advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures
- Delivering gold-standard preventive, diagnostic and medical care
- Confidently treating complex and emergency cases
- Building trusted relationships with clients through excellent communication
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit, supportive clinical and support team
The practice values quality over quantity, allowing vets the time and resources to practise to a high clinical standard.
About You
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Proven experience or a strong clinical focus in advanced surgery and orthopaedics
- Comfortable managing a varied and interesting caseload
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Willingness to participate in a 1:4 weekend rota
- Certificates or working towards further qualifications in surgery, orthopaedics or ECC would be highly desirable but not essential.
