An independent, patient-focused small animal practice in Surrey is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its supportive and close-knit team. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the few remaining independent practices in the area, where team wellbeing, collaboration and high-quality patient care are genuinely prioritised. The clinic promotes a holistic, relationship-led approach, encouraging vets to build strong connections with both clients and their pets. The practice is well-equipped with recently upgraded diagnostic and surgical equipment, supporting a high standard of clinical work. With structured breaks, daily team catch-ups and a strong emphasis on sustainable working, this role offers an excellent balance between clinical development and wellbeing.
- Independent small animal practice with strong community focus
- Well-equipped with modern diagnostics (ultrasound, DR x-ray, multiparameter monitoring)
- Team of experienced vets with varied clinical interests
- Highly skilled nursing team including RVNs, students and support staff
- Dedicated reception and management team
- Separate dog and cat/rabbit wards

- Strong focus on low-stress handling
- 4-day week (31 hours)
- 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:00am – 12:00pm)
- No Sundays, bank holidays or out-of-hours
- 20-minute consults

- Equivalent to £45,000 – £60,000 full-time
