This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to join a well-established, integrative and holistic practice that is redefining first-opinion veterinary care in Scotland.
This role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon who values patient-centred care, strong client relationships and clinical autonomy, and who is either experienced in, or open to, integrative and complementary medicine alongside conventional veterinary practice.
The Opportunity
This is a full-time Veterinary Surgeon position within a busy, independent small animal practice serving a loyal and engaged client base across Glasgow and the surrounding Southside communities. Clients actively seek a practice that offers choice, transparency and a holistic approach to their petsβ health and wellbeing.

- Acupuncture
- Herbal medicine
- Laser therapy
- Nutrition-focused care and education
Whether you already have experience in integrative medicine or are a more conventional vet with a curiosity to expand your skill set, full support, mentorship and funded training are available.
Why This Practice?
- Truly integrative and holistic ethos β combining evidence-based conventional medicine with complementary therapies
- Independent practice with authentic, flexible leadership
- Strong emphasis on wellbeing, culture and team happiness
- 20-minute consultations, protected admin time and no out-of-hours
- A judgement-free, compassionate environment for clients, patients and staff
- Excellent reputation across Glasgow for personalised, ethical veterinary care

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who:
- Is experienced in first-opinion practice
- Enjoys building long-term client relationships
- Communicates clearly, empathetically and confidently
- Values evidence-based medicine while being open to integrative approaches
- Works well within a close-knit, supportive team
An interest in surgery, integrative medicine, nutrition or additional qualifications would be advantageous but is by no means essential β development is actively encouraged.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: Β£40,000 β Β£60,000 DOE (with scope for higher earnings based on experience and qualifications)
- 28 days annual leave plus 7 bank holidays and birthday leave
- Uncapped CPD allowance (within reason)

- Western Veterinary Acupuncture (Β£1,000)
- Western Veterinary Herbal Medicine (Β£1,250)
