We are currently seeking an RGN for a Residential Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Service in Derby. We are looking for a Nurse who can support with medicines management, physical health monitoring, and general clinical oversight within a low-level mental health and substance misuse setting. This contract will be an ongoing Long Term position. This will be a Part Time contract for 4 days a week - 30 Hours. Monday to Thursday. The hourly pay rate will be negotiated between £28-30 an hour via an Umbrella (PAYE Available).
Main Duties
- To oversee implementation of the local clinical governance arrangements and lead the reporting process through the Clinical Governance structure.
- Lead on care planning and delivery to respond to the health needs of clients.
- To support caseload management, including assessing, planning, and implementing clinical care with a focus on managing clients’ general health needs.
- To provide training and support to frontline staff and managers in relation to clinical procedures and the use of clinical assessment tools including CIWA, COWS and MUST assessment tools.
- To respond to medical emergencies, managing crises as first line intervention and assessing risk and safeguarding concerns.
