We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Band 7 Sexual Health Nurse to join the Sexual Health Hub in Chester City Centre on a 3-month contract.
The Cheshire West and Chester Sexual Health Hub provides free, confidential and accessible sexual health services across the local community.
As a Level 3 Integrated Contraception and Sexual Health (ICASH) service, we provide contraception, STI testing and treatment, HIV clinical care, Genitourinary Medicine (GUM), and Community Sexual and Reproductive Health (c SRH).
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sexual health professional to work as an autonomous practitioner, delivering routine and specialist clinics while providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
The role will involve travel across Chester and West Cheshire to support community clinics, therefore a driving licence and access to a car are essential.
Key Responsibilities Undertake autonomous clinical assessments and consultations for patients with routine and complex sexual health needs.
Provide specialist sexual health advice, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and appropriate onward referral.
Take comprehensive sexual and medical histories and accurately document clinical findings.
Recognise normal anatomy and identify potential differential diagnoses, referring patients for further investigation or specialist medical review where appropriate.
