This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing luxury travel company with a diverse and interesting product portfolio as it embarks on the next stage of its growth. The successful candidate will work alongside a creative comms team to develop and execute Red Savannah’s content strategy, improving brand visibility and driving actionable leads. Your skillset will combine strong copywriting experience with an ability to research independently and an understanding of search engine optimisation. Essential is the ability to understand the nuances and expectations of the (U)HNW market and to create compelling copy that aligns with this. The product range is diverse and worldwide, comprising tailor-made travel, luxury villa rentals and yacht/gulet charters. While this is an office-based position, the role will suit a well-travelled person with good geographical knowledge and keen interest in the world.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • RESEARCH & COPYWRITING: Liaise with Destination Specialists to secure an accurate brief for each new piece of content, including destination pages, itineraries, hotel descriptions and journal articles. Conduct post-trip meetings with Destination Specialists and update website content accordingly. Write content pieces according to Red Savannah brand guidelines. Regularly review existing content for accuracy and improvement. Support entry of content into the website, including amends and updates. Help to source images to support written content.
  • SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION: Liaise with the Head of Digital Marketing to identify content opportunities and develop a content strategy. Utilise SEO tools to research and identify keywords in keeping with our brand position.
  • AI: Create and maintain GPTs for regularly used pieces of content, without compromising quality.
  • DOCUMENTATION: Maintenance of Essential Information documents. Regular hotel and sightseeing copy edits and approvals for the in-house booking system.
  • REPORTING: Monthly summary of progress and plans.

EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL QUALITIES:

  • Strong copywriting skills and understanding of grammar are imperative.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Good creative eye for photography and visual assets.
  • Demonstrable interest in travel and experience of travel to a variety of destinations.
  • Proactive, creative character, with high degree of initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Strong understanding of the changing search and AI environment, and the growth of GEO in marketing.
  • Practical experience of using SEO tools such as Semrush.
  • An ability to prompt engineer (in a generative engine) is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of working with CMSs (Sitecore would be an advantage, but training will be provided).
  • Luxury brand experience is an advantage, though not essential.
  • Practical hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of a company, recognising varying stakeholder priorities.
