Our international client is looking for an Azure Infrastructure Architect to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is 6 months with a high chance of extension. This position is hybrid, with 2 days a week on site in London and 3 days remote. ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE.

Skills and responsibilities
- Expertise in on-premises and public cloud infrastructure assessments and migrations using Azure Migrate for large, complex environments
- Lead Azure cloud solutioning activities, including stakeholder management, Azure strategy alignment, and end-to-end migration planning
- Design and implement Azure Landing Zones, with a strong understanding of customer infrastructure landscapes and governance models
- Define Azure target architectures, including HLD/LLD diagrams, Bill of Materials (BoM), pricing, and licensing considerations with a value-for-money focus
- Hands-on experience migrating workloads to Azure and troubleshooting Azure Windows environments (compute, networking, clusters, I/O, memory)
- Experience across multiple industry domains (banking, healthcare, insurance)
- Terraform scripting, execution, and troubleshooting
