RED now has a new contract opportunity for an Infrastructure Architect to join one of our key partners for a project. The initial contract will be for 6 months with excellent extension opportunities. This contract is to start ASAP and will be remote in London, UK.
Specific skills/experience required:
- 8 years of experience with Infrastructure Architecture.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, including Terraform (multi-cloud), Bicep (Azure), and Ansible for configuration management.
- Strong hands-on experience using Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD for build and deployment automation.
- Confident in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, and YAML.
- Experience using Azure Migrate and Azure Site Recovery to support migration projects.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including ARM, AKS, ACA, and App Services.
- Experience with Git version control and working with GitHub or GitLab workflows.
- Comfortable using GitHub Copilot to support automation and code generation.
- Understand and apply security best practices, including policy enforcement, compliance scanning, and secrets management.
- Familiar with container orchestration using AKS and with GitOps-based workflows.
- Good knowledge of multi-cloud strategies and hybrid cloud deployments.
- Relevant certifications are preferred, including Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Terraform Associate, and SC-401 Security.
