Job Description:
Our client is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer with Security Clearance to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is expected to last 6 months, with potential for additional extensions. This position would require 2 days a week on-site in Stratford and 3 days remote for the duration.
- Contract type: Freelance B2B.
- Location: 2 days a week on-site in Stratford
- Languages: English speaking is a must
- SECURITY CLEARANCE is required for this role
Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with CI/CD tools and version control systems (Git)
- Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS)
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus)
- Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
- Knowledge of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices
