We are seeking a motivated and experienced External Sales person to join our growing team. This is a role focused on developing new business and managing existing customer relationships within the lifting equipment industry. The successful candidate will ideally have a strong technical understanding of lifting equipment. Experience with powered lifting equipment is highly desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
  • Identify sales opportunities and promote a range of lifting equipment solutions
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, ensuring correct product selection
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and follow-ups
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets
  • Work closely with internal teams including sales, marketing and production
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and product developments

About You

  • Proven experience in external or field-based sales within the lifting equipment industry
  • Experience with powered lifting equipment is preferred but not essential
  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your own territory
  • Full UK driving licence
