Job Purpose
Red Rock Renewables has an existing portfolio of operational onshore and offshore wind assets. The Asset Management department is at the heart of managing this portfolio. The Senior Asset Manager will be a leader within this team, ensuring that the personnel asset management system for the development and management junior team members
The Senior Asset Manager is a prominent role in our business and will often take the lead for Red Rock Renewables in our dealings with project partners. The role therefore requires strong leadership, influence and the ability to represent the organization externally
The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for optimising the operational and financial performance of multiple assets in the portfolio whilst ensuring adherence to HSE standards. This will involve leading and managing the asset management team to implement workstreams to seize improvement opportunities and mitigate risks.
Establishing the right relationships with key partners and stakeholders is critical to establish an environment of cooperation and shared success. The Senior Asset Manager will be required to assert influence and control to best represent the interests of Red Rock Renewables in a number of joint venture projects.
The Senior Asset Manager will also play an important role in potential expansion of the portfolio in future including the addition of alternative renewable technologies.
Job Description
• Accountable for the financial performance, operational performance and risk profile of the assigned assets. Delivering against the approved budget and targets for generation, availability, cost, risk and compliance and implementing corrective actions for material variances.

• Lead robust stakeholder and contract management, maintaining and developing cross-industry external relationships to create value across the portfolio.
• Lead and provide line management to the asset management team with responsibility for team member performance management, development and succession planning.
• Engage in Asset Management decision making with a focus on whole life value. Establish Asset Management Plans according to the Asset Management Strategy and drive improvement against agreed asset KPIs.
• Continually improve financial performance through improvement actions or cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain and improve effective and efficient processes, in line with ISO 55001, to maintain certification and challenge established ways of working. This includes ownership of key strategic documents within the ISO 55001 accredited Asset Management system.
• Responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality reporting, with support from the wider team.
• Serve as the accountable asset owner, providing leadership in HSEQ and ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation, permit obligations, grid connection requirements and corporate governance standards
• Prepare business cases, strategic assessments and management reports to support investment and operational decision-making including providing advice to support the board members
• Play a prominent role in the integration of new assets into RRR portfolio as required.
• May be required to fulfil key roles in accordance with relevant scope where RRR is contracted to provide operations management services in existing or future joint venture arrangements.
• May be expected to act as a board director of asset companies.
• Lead or coordinate whole-life asset management including:
- technical due diligence, feasibility studies and technical assessments for acquisitions and divestments, development and implementation of strategies for lifetime extension, repowering, major retrofits, major component replacement, decommissioning planning, adoption of emerging renewable technologies, and capital investment optimisation so as to continuously enhance asset value and investment returns.
• Establish and maintain asset risk registers, ensuring technical, commercial, contractual and operational risks are identified, assessed, mitigated and regularly reviewed.
• Monitor and challenge the performance of consultants, contractors, operators and service providers to ensure delivery of contractual obligations and continuous improvement.

•Proven ability to build relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders in multiple countries
•Strong communication skills to present abstract concepts to people from different backgrounds
•Ability to analyse and summarise complex data for management reporting / business case support
•Strong initiative and the ability to proactively identify, plan and execute required works

Knowledge and Experience Required
Essential
•5+ years’ experience in a similar role in an Asset Management or related capacity
•Relevant experience in managing wind, solar, grid, or other large-scale energy infrastructure assets.
•Relevant experience in managing operational projects
Desirable
•Understanding of working within a management system framework, and familiarity with the ISO 55001 asset management system and its application in business operations.
