Job Purpose
Red Rock Renewables has an existing portfolio of operational onshore and offshore wind assets. The Technical department is at the heart of managing this portfolio. We require an enthusiastic and effective Associate Asset Manager to support the team in achieving best value from our assets.
The Associate Asset Manager will support and assist the Senior / Asset Manager in optimising the operational and financial performance of assigned assets while maintaining high HSEQ, compliance and governance standards. The role will provide analysis, coordination and day-to-day asset management support across performance, reporting, risk, contracts, stakeholder relationships and improvement initiatives. Working with internal resources, project partners and service providers, the Associate Asset Manager will help create an environment of cooperation and shared success and will develop the experience required to take increasing ownership of defined workstreams.
Job Description
•Support Senior / Asset Manager(s) in monitoring the financial performance, operational performance and risk profile of assigned assets, including tracking delivery against approved budgets and targets and helping to implement corrective actions for material variances.
•Support Senior / Asset Manager(s) in maintaining productive relationships with project partners, consultants, contractors, operators, service providers and wider industry stakeholders to protect and enhance portfolio value.
•Support continual improvement of portfolio performance by identifying, analysing and delivering agreed revenue improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
•Assist with stakeholder and contract management, monitoring delivery against contractual obligations, escalating issues and supporting continuous improvement.
•Prepare quantitative, technical and financial analysis, business cases and management reports to support decisions by Senior / Asset Manager(s), with consideration of whole-life asset value and long-term portfolio performance.
•Assist the Senior / Asset Manager(s) with technical due diligence, feasibility studies and technical assessments for acquisitions, divestments and other whole-life asset decisions and implementation.
•Support the maintenance of asset risk registers and take ownership of assigned actions, helping to ensure technical, commercial, contractual and operational risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, escalated and regularly reviewed.
•Support Senior / Asset Manager(s) in developing, maintaining and implementing Asset Management Plans in line with the Asset Management Strategy, monitoring performance against agreed KPIs and coordinating agreed improvement actions.
•Coordinate accurate, timely and high-quality asset reporting, working with Senior / Asset Manager and wider team to investigate variances and clearly communicate key issues, risks and actions.
•Support the implementation and continuous improvement of asset management processes, systems and tools, including coordinating defined projects and challenging established ways of working where appropriate.
•Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the ISO 55001 Asset Management System, including preparation and maintenance of controlled documents, evidence and assigned improvement actions.
•Support compliance with HSEQ requirements, applicable legislation, permit obligations, grid connection requirements and corporate governance standards across assigned assets, ensuring risks and non-conformances are appropriately managed and escalated to the Senior / Asset Manager (s).

Knowledge and Experience Required
Essential
•Strong report-writing and data presentation skills, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
•Ability to work independently on assigned activities, identify and communicate key insights, and escalate material issues appropriately
•2–5 years’ relevant experience in asset management, renewable energy or a related technical, financial or operational environment
Desirable
•Relevant experience supporting the management of operational projects or infrastructure assets
•Knowledge of wind, solar, grid or other large-scale energy infrastructure assets, with particular relevance to operational onshore and offshore wind
