Mission Resourcing are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Huddersfield who are looking for Sales Administrator (Internal) to join their busy team.

Our Client are world known packaging manufacturer. They specialize in making custom packaging in a variety of formats and are experienced at working with luxury and creative brands across many sectors.

About The Offer:

  • Salary up to £28,000 per annum
  • Monday – Friday 9 am till 5 pm
  • Office based

About the role:

This role is office based and is concerned with the administration and handling of sales. Working as part of the sales team, this will involve the implementation of paperwork systems in the generation and development of quotes and orders, from the initial contact through to delivery and the handing over to accounts at invoicing stage.

Responsibilities:

  • Communication by telephone and in written (electronic) format will be required to both customers and suppliers in order to accurately build specifications and produce documents that both define the product and protect the company in its dealings.
  • Sales function will be divided into teams, where an account manager will deal with business development and early stages of the enquiry.
  • You will look to take the management of this project through at the earliest stage from quote to completion.
  • Good communication will be needed between both parties in order to ensure workflow.
  • Responsible for the efficient handling of salesorders from point of order. Producing all further documents and paperwork and dealing directly with both the supplier and client with regard to any questions that may be raised once an order has been placed. Sending correct documents to both suppliers and clients and making sure all documents that require a signature are signed.
  • Raising Purchase Orders and subsequently following the process and procedures that have been implemented through ISO.
  • Requesting Templates from Suppliers and Artwork from Clients. Responsible for acquiring the correct information from the client with regard to deliveries and sending correct delivery notes to the supplier with contact details.
  • Supporting the team with general office duties such as handling incoming phone calls, collating samples, updating spreadsheets and databases, booking couriers and sending out customer surveys.
  • To assist in any matter relating to our ISO certification and to work to the system that this requires
  • As a team member in the company, we also expect you to help assist and drive social and environmental impact. Driving such impact could include the below but we discussed particularly the role of Community and Charity Liaison.
  • Advocating the value of social and environmental impact within our team and to our customers and suppliers (e.g. championing sustainability)
  • Championing where possible, responsible and sustainable materials as well as production and delivery choices for our customers.
  • Seeking and delivering of work which not only delivers commercial value but increases the social and environmental impact that we make for our clients / customers.
  • Looking for new opportunities that our business can help drive social and environmental change, e.g. charity partnerships, volunteering, carbon offsetting etc.
  • Meeting with the team at agreed intervals to review what personal initiatives workers could be doing in and outside of work that can help drive social and environmental impact.

Skills & Experience:

  • Attention to detail, strong organisational skills.
  • Open minded to change and development
  • Proficient Microsoft 365 office experience. (Word & Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Initiative and ability to think on your feet.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Must be able to adapt to existing system processes.
  • Time management skills.

DESIRABLES:

  • Experience in a customer facing role.
  • Experience working across different functions/departments.
  • Understanding of packaging or printing industry
  • Understanding of artwork/design.
  • Data entry experience
  • Experience working with CRM systems, in particular Salesforce/Trello
