About the Role
Join a highly skilled team in a growing engineering company that manufactures bespoke equipment designed to provide safe working environments for a range of consumer goods industries. As a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating stainless-steel components from start to finish, ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.
What to expect:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate stainless steel components.
- Perform cutting (guillotine), forming (press brake), welding (MIG & TIG), drilling, and finishing/polishing to pharmaceutical standards.
- Ensure high-specification finishing, meeting stringent industry requirements.
- Work collaboratively within a team to maintain quality and efficiency in production.
What we need from you:
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication of stainless steel (1-5mm) to pharmaceutical standards.
- Expertise in MIG and TIG welding.
- Ability to finish components to a high specification (pharmaceutical standard).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
What we can offer:
- Starting salary of £37,050 (£19 an hour)
- Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM / Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM (no lunch).
- Overtime available when required.
- Private healthcare scheme with BUPA (after 12 months of service).
