Mission Resourcing are delighted to be working with our prestigious client in Bradford - West Yorkshire who are looking for a Forklift Field Service Engineer to join their busy team.

About the Business:

Our client provides a high-quality service and supply of new and refurbished materials handling equipment to customers all over the UK.

About The Offer:

  • Salary up to £32,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday 8 am till 4:30 pm
  • Regular Overtime at time and a half
  • Yearly company bonus

  • 22 days + stats

About the role:

You would join a team to provide direct customer service, attend customer properties where you will have the responsibility for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on diesel, LPG and electrically operated equipment. Product training will be given. Generally, you will be working from home, covering the West Yorkshire area.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault diagnosis carrying out subsequent repairs in a time and cost-effective manner.
  • Performing repairs, servicing and preventative maintenance of customer forklift truck equipment.
  • Completion of documentation to company standards.
  • Liaison with the parts department to ensure appropriate stock levels are held on the company vehicle.

Skills & Experience:

  • Customer focused, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Enthusiastic, outgoing and determined.
  • Well organised and possess a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Own tools - Specialist tools will be provided.
  • Good knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and control systems.
  • Excellent fault diagnostic skills.
  • Experience in assembly or mechanical roles.
  • Own hand tools.
