We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Electrician to join a growing electrical and MEP contractor delivering projects across commercial, industrial and specialist environments. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrician looking to work on a varied portfolio of installations and maintenance projects. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of electrical works including installation, testing, maintenance, fault finding and commissioning activities across multiple sites. The role offers long-term stability, excellent benefits and opportunities to develop within a well-established business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installations on commercial and industrial projects
  • Install containment systems including tray, basket, conduit and trunking
  • Installation of lighting, power distribution and associated electrical systems
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on electrical systems
  • Support testing, inspection and commissioning activities
  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance works
  • Work on control systems, plant equipment and associated electrical infrastructure
  • Complete works in line with current regulations and company procedures
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with health & safety legislation
  • Complete job reports and relevant documentation accurately
  • Liaise professionally with site teams, clients and project managers

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Electrician
  • JIB Gold Card essential
  • Strong installation experience within commercial and/or industrial environments
  • Experience with maintenance and fault finding
  • Knowledge of BS7671 regulations
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Flexible approach to travel and site-based work
  • Full UK Driving Licence essential

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • AM2
  • ECS/JIB Gold Card
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Testing & Inspection qualification desirable (2391 or equivalent)
