Red Rock are currently working with an established accountancy practice who are looking to recruit a PA/Secretary to support one of the firms partners. This is a varied position combining administrative, client service, and accounts support responsibilities, offering exposure to a wide range of accounting and taxation processes. This is a great opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to work in a professional environment with long-term stability.
BENEFITS:
- Salary of up to £30,000
- Pension scheme available after 3 months (Employee 5% / Employer 3%)
- 20 days annual leave plus bank holiday (plus an additional 5 days after 5 years, and a further 5 days after 10 years)
- Flexible working hours (8:30am-5:00pm or 9:00am-5:30pm)
DUTIES:
- Manage client correspondence, including letters and emails.
- Manage the Partners diary and coordinate appointments.
- Receptionist duties, answering phone and greeting clients.
- Finalise company accounts and issue to clients for approval.
- File company accounts, confirmation statements, and other documents with Companies House within deadlines.
- Assist with sole trader, charity, and pension scheme accounts.
- Issue completed personal and corporate tax returns to clients for approval.
- Ensure all accounting and taxation deadlines are met.
- Carry out receptionist duties, including answering calls and greeting clients.
- Raise fee notes and issue client statements.
The successful candidate will have previous experience as a PA, Secretary, or Administrator. Experience within an accountancy or professional services environment is desirable, but not essential. Immediate interviews are taking place, so please do not delay in applying should you be interested.
