Graduate Estimator (Mechanical & Electrical) Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent Mechanical & Electrical Building Services A well-established M&E contractor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to develop a long-term career within the building services and construction industry. The successful candidate will support the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for a range of commercial, industrial, and residential M&E projects, working alongside experienced estimators within a supportive environment. Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions for mechanical and electrical projects Carry out quantity take-offs and cost analysis Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations Support senior estimators with pricing exercises and bid strategy development Maintain accurate estimating records and project data Liaise with internal departments, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors Assist with the ongoing review of project costs and commercial information Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Understanding of mechanical and electrical building services systems Previous internship, placement, or work experience within construction or estimating Familiarity with estimating software packages Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or similar relevant subject Structured training and career development Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to develop a long-term career within a growing M&E contractor We are a well-established and growing Mechanical & Electrical contractor delivering high-quality building services solutions across the commercial, industrial, residential, and social housing sectors throughout the UK.
