ROLE: Mixed Tax Senior
SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience)
LOCATION: Malvern (hybrid working available, flexible hours)
Red Rock are currently working with an established accountancy practice who are looking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their friendly tax department. The position offers the opportunity to manage a varied client portfolio and develop strong technical tax expertise within a supportive team environment. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious and detail-focused tax professional looking for long-term development and flexibility.
DUTIES:
- Manage a personal tax client portfolio of approximately 330 clients, including preparing tax returns and handling client queries and advice
- Take ownership of a client portfolio with support from seniors, managers, and partners during busy periods
- Contact HMRC to amend tax codes, chase refunds, and handle ad hoc queries
- Review corporation tax returns
- Assist with the preparation of P11Ds
- Attend client meetings or phone calls to discuss tax returns and resolve queries
- Prepare and submit Capital Gains Tax returns
- Register Trusts on the Trust Registration Service
This role is ideally suited to someone who has recently completed their AAT qualification, with prior experience in tax. Practice experience is essential.
