Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance/Company Car + Benefits The Role An established and growing mechanical building services contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator to join its commercial team.
This is a newly created position due to continued business growth and an increasing workload across the commercial and industrial sectors.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the estimating function on a variety of mechanical building services projects, helping the business continue its expansion into larger, full mechanical packages.
Working alongside an experienced delivery team, you'll be responsible for producing accurate tenders, engaging with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting the successful delivery of projects ranging from £250,000 to £5 million.

Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation.
Price commercial and industrial mechanical building services projects.
Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and tender reports.
Liaise with clients, consultants and internal project teams throughout the tender process.
Identify value engineering opportunities.
Support project handovers to the delivery team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Manage multiple tenders while meeting submission deadlines.
Qualifications Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification preferred.
Proven estimating experience within the mechanical contracting sector.
Full UK Driving Licence.
