Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced SSSTS Site Supervisor for a project based in Derby. This is an initial 1-month contract with up to 16 months of ongoing work for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising day-to-day site operations
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
- Coordinating trades and subcontractors
- Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks
- Monitoring progress and reporting to senior management
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety compliance
Requirements:
- Valid SSSTS certification (essential)
- Proven experience supervising on construction sites
- Background in factory and/or warehouse construction projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain site efficiency
