We are working with a long-established, family-run heating business with over 50 years of experience delivering trusted domestic heating solutions across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Boiler Installation Engineer to join our team.

You will be responsible for the installation of domestic gas boilers and central heating systems within occupied and unoccupied properties, working to high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer care. This is a local field-based role covering the Hollywood and South Birmingham patch, offering consistent work, strong support from an experienced office team, and the opportunity to be part of a well-respected, trusted local business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install domestic boilers and full central heating systems to manufacturer and Gas Safe standards
  • Carry out system upgrades including pipework alterations, flushing, and commissioning
  • Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues on site
  • Complete all certification, compliance paperwork, and digital job reporting accurately
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality finish
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners
  • Maintain company van, tools, and equipment to a high standard
  • Work closely with the office team to ensure smooth job scheduling and delivery

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Boiler Installation Engineer within domestic heating
  • Strong background in boiler swaps and full heating system installations
  • Valid Gas Safe registration (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Professional approach with good customer communication skills

Qualifications:

  • Gas Safe Registered (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 or equivalent ACS qualifications)
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent experience)
  • Manufacturer training (Worcester Bosch / Vaillant etc.) desirable
