Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Air Conditioning (AC) Engineer to join the engineering team on a dedicated static site assignment at a luxury residential development in Wapping. You will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, reliability, and performance of air conditioning and associated HVAC systems across the estate. This is a hands-on, on-site engineering position with a focus on planned maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs.
The company youll be joining is a leading building services installation and maintenance specialist delivering bespoke facilities management solutions to high-end residential clients across the UK. They are known for high standards, tailored maintenance regimes, and commitment to asset performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine service, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning and HVAC plant to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications.
- Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions on AC systems, including VRF / VRV, ducted systems, AHUs, and split units.
- Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and statutory compliance checks in line with internal schedules and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, asset histories, and documentation to support compliance and reporting.
- Support energy-efficient operation and occupant comfort by optimising system performance.
- Liaise professionally with residents, site teams, and contractors while on site.
- Work collaboratively with the broader engineering team to deliver exceptional service standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer, preferably in static or site-based roles.
- F-Gas certification.
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience with a range of AC system types (e.g., VRF / VRV, AHUs, split systems).
- Good working knowledge of HVAC plant servicing, maintenance best practice, and safety compliance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Comfortable working on a bespoke luxury residential site with high-end customer expectations.
